A note for practice managers. Founder's rate seats are individual licenses: each seat is its own account, its own invoice, and its own license, with no central administration, no shared templates, no practice-wide audit views, and no BAA. A group practice handling PHI needs the Practice tier; that is what the admin console, the shared library, the onboarding session, the one-hour support target, and the BAA are for.
Answers to the questions clinicians ask first
How does the 10 day trial work?
Your trial key activates on first launch and counts down for 10 days from that moment, not from the date you downloaded. On day 7, a dismissible banner reminds you the trial is ending. On day 9, a non-dismissible modal appears at launch. At day 10, new case creation and the assistants are locked, existing cases remain readable, and the discovery export stays available so an in-progress forensic evaluation is never trapped. You can buy a license at any point from inside the app or from the plans above to continue without interruption.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only to activate the license and to call the remote model provider for the writing, review, ingestion, and diagnostic assistants. Intake, testing, interviews, PII detection, and the audit log all run locally. Boreas Workflow does not send case files to any Boreas Workflow-operated server.
Do I need my own model API key?
Yes. Boreas Workflow uses your Anthropic, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI key. You paste it into the app on first configuration and the app stores it in your operating system's secure credential store. API costs go directly to the model provider.
Where are case files stored?
In a workspace folder on your machine. You pick the folder during setup. Local disk, an encrypted volume, or a network share you control. Boreas Workflow never copies case files off your device.
I lost my trial key. Can you resend it?
Yes. Write to [email protected] from the email address you used on the form. We verify the account and resend the trial key plus the installer link.
