Defensible use of AI in psychological assessment
AI tools are arriving in assessment practice faster than the guidance on using them safely. This session covers the questions that matter before you let any AI product near an evaluation: where PHI actually goes, what opposing counsel will ask about your process, what your documentation needs to show, and what belongs in your informed consent language. Practical, vendor-honest, and grounded in how evaluations are actually challenged.
Date: being finalized. Register below and the invite, with date, time, and join link, arrives by email. Registrants also receive the recording.

Sixty minutes, four questions
Where does the data go? The difference between cloud-processed and local-first PHI handling, what a BAA does and does not cover, and the questions to put to any vendor before patient data touches their product.
What will opposing counsel ask? How AI-assisted work product gets challenged: authorship, reliability, the basis of opinions, and the discovery requests already appearing in cases. What an audit trail needs to contain for your process to hold up.
What does your documentation need to show? Standards for documenting AI assistance in reports and records, for both courtroom scrutiny and payer review. Who decided what, and where the record proves it.
What do you tell the people you evaluate? Informed consent and notification language for AI-assisted workflows, with examples you can adapt.
This is an educational session, not a product demo. Boreas Workflow is discussed where it is relevant to the material, and there is a short optional demo segment after the main session ends. This webinar does not carry CE credit; a CE-eligible version through an approved sponsor is in the works.
About the session
Who is it for?
Forensic evaluators and testing/assessment psychologists who are using AI tools, considering them, or being asked about them by attorneys, payers, or colleagues. Practice owners evaluating tooling for a group will get the most from the documentation and PHI segments.
Does it carry CE credit?
Not this session. CE credit can only be issued through APA-approved or state-approved sponsors, and we are in conversations with approved sponsors about a CE-eligible version. Registering for this session puts you on the list to hear when that lands.
Is this a sales pitch?
The main session is educational and stands on its own; the material applies whatever tools you use. There is a short, clearly separated demo segment after the session ends, and staying for it is optional.
What if I cannot attend live?
Register anyway. Every registrant receives the recording.
What do you do with my email?
We send the invite, the recording, and occasionally templates and practice content. No list sales, no spam, unsubscribe any time.
